The AutoTCO name, logo, and the design and text of this site are the property of AutoTCO's creator unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without permission. The calculations you generate using the tool are yours to use freely.
What AutoTCO is — and isn't
AutoTCO estimates the total cost of owning a car based on the figures you provide and the defaults documented in each comparison's assumptions log. These estimates are for informational purposes only — they are not financial, insurance, tax, or legal advice, and we don't guarantee their accuracy or that they'll match what you'll actually pay. Always confirm real figures (price, financing terms, insurance premiums, taxes, resale values) with the relevant dealer, lender, insurer, or authority before making a purchasing decision.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use AutoTCO to attempt to disrupt the service, to submit unlawful content through the feedback form, or to attempt to access data that isn't yours — including another visitor's saved comparison, if you don't have its share link.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep AutoTCO available and accurate but don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the product at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, AutoTCO isn't liable for decisions made based on figures produced by this tool, or for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site.
Governing law
AutoTCO doesn't yet operate under a registered legal entity, so no specific governing law or court jurisdiction is asserted at this time. This section will be completed once one exists.
